A revisit to FGS Dong Zen Temple in year 2014 has brought me many past memories all these years. I consistently visit this place especially during Chinese New Year. It has become a norm to drop by for exciting different theme every year.

CNY Lantern & Floral Fest 2014

CNY festival would never be bored if you come to visit this temple. You can expect lots of floral decoration with some static animal as display, featured the surrounding very colorful. However, visitors turn-out this year was not big compare to previous years. It could be no strong broadcasting about this place in main stream media.

Return visitors were those frequent from past years or those get influenced in social media photo how nice this place was. Yes, social media like Facebook spread the photo very fast and many of us like to go Facebook to wish people during CNY gathering

The best time to come here would be around 6pm8pm. You’ll be able to witness two situation, day light and moon light. Of course, the moon light is referring to the night view with colorful light throughout this place. There were few mascots recycle but I notice most of it are new creation.

Well, FGS Dong Zen remains one of the most visited place during CNY no matter how.

In fact, I hope this will become an attraction during Visit Malaysia Year but I don’t think it would get extend for whole year. This lantern festival is only happened during Chinese New Year from 29-Jan until 16-Feb only.

If you missed it, no worry. Going to happen again next year.

See you next year.
