Putrajaya is a planned city, located south of Kuala Lumpur, that serves as the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. Putrajaya was the brainchild of former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad who was in power then. In 2001, Putrajaya was made a Federal Territory, increasing the number of federal territories to three. Kuala Lumpur and Labuan are the other two administrative capital of Malaysia (Wikipedia, 2010).

One does imagine why Putrajaya was chosen among professional photographer to capture the absolute scenic city. They can build a portfolio on photos taken and compile into series of collections.

I’m one of those who venture into city landscape and building photography for first time.

My visit to Putrajaya was just purely coincidence with the event running in the main administrative city. Four of us made a simple walk around the capital city around late evening.  Basically not much story telling here.
