Our famous food trip, Makan-Makan Melaka was having another round recently. It was tailor made for a group of 4 in one car. We purposely make a day trip just for food. To name a few, there are Satay Celup, Chicken Rice Ball, Durian Cendol, Yam Rice and Cockles.

A tiring day trip that everyone of us has to bear. We departed at 6.30am and back at 9.30pm, with almost 15 hours of food hunting. Total of 7 sessions made off for a whole day. Consider a breakthrough for us so far. Glad to be part of it.
With only four of us that day, we were certainly able to fit into sharing the whole travel and food expenses. A budget trip as we called it. The first edition last year had provoked the second edition as we named it. We have GPS Navigator as road helper to help us.
Our first stop was nothing than a regular breakfast in Seremban town. Yes, the famous Hakka Mee had gone in our way so early. I personally eaten this many times, just promote a bit here. A place where senior citizens gathered.
A price per bowl has increase from RM3.00 to RM3.30 (small), RM3.50 to RM3.70 (medium) and RM3.80 to RM4.00 (big) compare to last year.
A typical increase because of ingredients are getting more expensive?
Zoo Melaka is the second biggest zoo in Malaysia. This major zoological park is located opposite Botanikal Ayer Keroh and along the Lebuh Ayer Keroh route. More than 1200 animals of 215 species can be found at the Zoo Melaka.
Month of August was my busiest month of the year. Almost every week, I went out for trip. Zoo Melaka is one of my target. This place is never been hard to locate if you come from Ayer Keroh direction. Go straight after pay the toll and look forward the signboard given.
Car park is NOT FREE and I paid RM2 for carpark.
If you wonder how was the palace of Sultan Melaka look like, Melaka Sultanate Palace is the right place to visit. It’s not the real palace but a replica that located at the foot of St Paul’s Hill. According to the historical documents, the palace was built during Sultan Mansur Syah’s era, who ruled from 1456 – 1477.

The entrance to the palace is rather easy and just nearby A Famosa Fort. The fees is just RM2 for adult and RM0.50 for child. We were given a plastic bag for our shoes to be carry on when enter into palace.
Finally, I visited this latest tourist attraction in Melaka. Menara Taming Sari (Revolving Tower) is located at Bandar Hilir, beside Dataran Pahlawan Megamall. This 110m high revolving tower is built with revolving observation cabin, rotating 360-degree view.

I went at night. People said that it’s good to ride during the daylight. Admission fees are RM20 (without MyKad), RM10 (with MyKad), RM10 (no MyKad) and RM5 (with MyKad) for children below 12 years and RM17 (no MyKad) and RM7 (with MyKad) for senior citizens above 55 years old.
Melaka is famous with a lot of foods. Nothing can beat our appetite that day when we organized a Jom Makan-Makan at Melaka @ 28 Mar 2009. We beat the rhythm when we finally got five people for this trip.

I just came back from one full day trip @ Melaka. It was damn tiring when I went out from house at 6.45am and only back to home at 2.30am. We walked quite a lot and eat non-stop for the whole day!
Five of us fit into one car on the way. We wanted to minimize our spend on the transport as we’re willing to spend more on food.
