Bubba Gump Shrimp @ The Curve

24 April 2009

The dinner below was held at The Curve. Both of us are celebrated our birthday at close of one day gap.

Photo taken by Kevin Loh using fish lens.

Dinner itself is just an ordinary. Eat and get full. Nothing else. The exciting part is all about the following.

Drink session is held at outside The Curve. Beer first, late night Chivas (I did not join due to too late for me).

Cheers…with Ellen, birthday girl and belated birthday on myself.

And while we were busy drinking, we can see many inspiring faces.

This guy (aka baby face) is looking on promote Heineken beer to us. Very prospecting right…huh!

This was having downhearted moment…what happened? Huh!

Finally, this was indeed a sure win advertising method…promoting hard on Heineken, was doing better than the baby face. LOL.

Message that trying to be passed: To achieve peace mind and relax body, choose Heineken! Your best choice!

I love it! ^_^

Thank you everyone of you.

Bowling Tournament 2009

An annual event of this tournament was held at Sunway Mega Lanes, Sunway Pyramid on 2nd May 2009. It was organized by the Club. If you know what I mean, just look at the Club name below…hehe.

Bowling Tournament 2009

My past experience in this sport is slightly average. If I ever join, I will just join for fun. Game started at 9am but people already start gathering as early as 8am. Notably are those trophies and hampers, waiting to be given away.

I didn’t join the tournament due to not able to form a team. I came here just to give moral support. That is.

OMG…of course it’s not me. I’m not graduated from local university, only attending their convocation. Without knowing that it’s my first time attending local U convo!

U.K.M Convocation 2008

Blah Blah … this post should be written earlier due to it’s happened on last year 13 Aug. I come into discovering that I missed out this wonderful event. I do not want to post under my life documentary. It’s still fresh in my mind, like happened yesterday!

Lily was a graduate from this university. She, in fact, has came to know that her junior batch is going to graduate soon and she want me to come along with her.

At first, I thought of going for a simple convocation, did not expect anything until it’s turned to be the other round, with place crowded with so many happy faces around. Suddenly I felt myself getting old and all the new blood whom will be going to join the workforce with us very soon.

Lily is carrying this cutie doggie everywhere.

Later on, she no longer carrying the doggie, but a flowerbed.

Yo…it’s time to pass the flower back to her junior. Congratsssss.

Got few occasions where she met with her ex-lecturers and took picture with them. Luckily, lecturers are still remember their students.

She brings me around to show me the places.

The place is big, walking alone is tiring, therefore, motoring is the best choice. That’s how she get her motor as a transport that time.

From faculty by faculty and proceed to the other buildings.

She showed me where she stay last time, her room is facing the forest. Can see monkey loitering around. There are separate dorm for male and female. One’s cannot enter to each other by the rules.

She and her juniors then decided to visit the ‘best‘ lecturer office to show gratitude over the years effort teaching and guiding them. It was like farewell meet up. So touching. I never had such feeling for distance learning degree..gosh!

At about 2pm, we left the convo and had our lunch at Bangi town before back to KL.

House Warming @ Bandar Utama

I went for a house warming @ Bandar Utama early this month. It’s my colleague’s new house in old area. This double storey house is located at the prime location housing area in PJ, opposite to Kolej Bandar Utama (KBU).

Buffet style catering is prepared to welcome us. Since it’s afternoon, all of us are great with delicious lunch. So coincidence, the owner also celebrating her birthday as well. So, everyone of us get a slice of cake of Secret Recipe.

The interior is quite nice from my point of view.

Four of us: Simon, Dex, MK and Teh.

Cutie with her mother.

Both lengluis known as Ah Tee and Qi Qi.

The group photo is taken at living room. Quite big and can fit many peoples around.

TGI Friday @ Pavillion

TGIF (Thank God, It’s Friday) is one of the famous restaurant chain in worldwide. I went to the one which located at Pavillion, KL. There was a 3 in 1 Fuiyo celebration with my colleagues conjunction with one birthday and two farewell event. That’s why.

The photographs below were taken by famous photographer offline and online, Kevin Loh.

T.G.I Friday @ Pavillion

Before I come to know this restaurant, my mind was never thought of the food served there. My impression was on Western food, nothing than steak with red wine. My perception was proven wrong when actually it served the local delicacies together with its style.

The foods are equal high quality and tempted which attract my appetite that day and going forward.

We ordered few main courses which each course is cost us RM39.90 (excl tax). The thing that I like about this course meal promotion is I can shared with two person and it’s still enough to fill up the stomach. The meal set comes with 1 Appetizer, 1 Entree and 1 Desert.

My Shrimp Martini is just as small as a cup with decoration.

Friday’s Chicken.

Sizzling Chicken and Cheese is my Entrees. It served my appetite very well. I love it.

Main course can be as simple as Fish & Chips for light eater.

My desert of Cookies N Cream which is a big cup of ice-cream.

Dinner at TGIF will make you think deeply on what is the next appetite  to try. She is asking what else we want to order. She don’t know and asked us to decide.

And he is thinking on the next appetite. Hmm.

Teh and Kevin (the man behind the scene).

Funny staff is helping us with birthday celebration moment. He made all of us laugh.

Guys group, even though we look like big eater, actually, we’re sharing some course meal too. Sharing is caring, everybody can taste it.

All of us for 3 in 1 Fuiyo celebration at Pavillion.

Post dinner capture at Pavillion to make a memorable moment forever.

The promotion of 3 Course Meal is still on-going and I plan to go again next time to try the other courses with my beloved. Sharing is just so lovely, that’s what the course meal try express to us.
