Teluk Chempedak beach is not far from town of Kuantan is about 5km only. We traveled from Cherating and this place is our last destination in East Coast Vacation series.

This beach is famous for locals during weekends to unwind with family members and loved one. It’s also good place for water sports activities such as swimming, jet-skiing, surfing and sunbath. Kite flying is common sight here.
One can choose to stay overnight here on low budget hotel nearby. Hyatt Regency Hotel is the most popular choice for a holiday. We parked our car at designed car park area with fees of RM1. Side parking is widely available for free, but good luck for hunting on it.

Travelled along the trunk road for about 150km, we decided on Holiday Villa Cherating as our next destination. It’s undoubtedly the most popular beach along the east coast. The sandy beaches are dotted with pleasant casuarinas trees and calm water.
Holiday Villa Cherating, in my opinion is a perfect getaway place to be with friends and loved ones.

Continue from post of East Coast Vacation 2010 – Kapas Island, we continue our vacation by hopping to another beach along the coastline, Rantau Abang.

Upon left the Kapas Island, we continue our drive from Marang jetty towards Kuantan direction. During the journey, we stopped by Rantau Abang for a short visit.
The best place for the turtle breeding spot is Rantau Abang. This place is associated with turtles only.

It was so irresistible to plan a trip like this. To make this trip perfectly stand out its efficiency, I formed a group of 4 peoples as a perfect group. It just took me a short term to plan and confirmed the final preparation. By given a name of An Ultimate East Coast Vacation, it can be just a simple trip. How can it be?

It’s a budget vacation but yet it’s called Ultimate Vacation. In fact, our mind and soul had compassed a great force of vacation joyful. 4 days and 3 nights vacation was sound environmentally from places such as island, beach, hill, waterfall and town has turned into beach, beach, beach and beach.
We have surpassed 4 beaches in 4 days vacation. Thanks to the low peak season, we have not encountered any issue hopping from beach to beaches. That was sound crazy but we made it possible with Free N Easy way.
Malaysia East Coast is quite popular with white sandy beaches along the Terengganu coast. Most of the places are turned into beach resort accommodation for local and foreigner. Our main destination was Kapas Island, follow by sub destination such as Rantau Abang, Cherating and Teluk Chempedak. The sub destination was only decided as we went along the route from Kapas Island. That’s reality and joy of it.
A Day Trip to Pulau Ketam

Pulau Ketam if translated literally, means “crab island”. It is a small island located off the coast of Klang. The island is easily accessible from the Port Klang jetty by ferry. You can either take KTM Komuter train (1.5 hour) or by car (45 mins) to reach the jetty. In Klang, you will take the high speed ferry to Pulau Ketam. Its only a half hour ride (12 nautical miles) away from the hustle and bustle of Port Klang.

We took the 11.00am ferry and arrived about 45 minutes time. We enjoyed the trip very much. This was how we started this wonderful trip, simple yet memorable day trip when almost everyone of us managed to agree to go this place.
