To complete Bukit Saga hiking series, one must done for all the routes (A, B, C & D). Normally, many call it as completed via Route A (famous route). The rest are much tougher and challenging, but I determined to complete Route C this time.
Saga Hill (Bukit Saga) – Route C
It doesn’t take long to complete all routes, not even weekly or monthly but could be as short as 1 day. It depends on your stamina, but doing it weekly is recommended. All routes end-point will be at SAGA Hill peak.
Route C is accessible along the way of Route A, where the diversion happened (look around for direction) during flat trek. Route C will be diverted when you see the Chinese local deities OR small camp/rest area as shown in picture above.
CNY is just around the corner, exactly one month from today. Before year 2013 over, before I forgotten, FGS Dong Zen Temple, CNY Lantern & Floral Festival 2013 was held from 8-24 February 2013. It was my sixth visit and it’s still a favorite place during CNY.

Opening hours are from 10.30am to 10.00pm. Admission and parking on officially designated areas are both FREE.
As usual, peoples flocked this place during CNY and make it very crowded. I’ve much difficulties in taking photo when people had blocked some nice view. Suggest to come during weekday to avoid super massive weekend crowd.
For me, the most suitable time is between 5.30pm to 8.30pm when I could have before & after the light was turned on, rather than going on day & night separately.
This year was rather different. There were 3D art displays near the side entrance. Also overall, it’s worth a visit due to not many get recycle at different location, if you know my meaning of recycling (reuse the same mascot in different place).
Bukit Kembara is a moderate hill for leisure hiking especially for beginner who seeking for easy-peasy hike. Located in the green lung next to Taman Bukit Indah, this hill is not that popular enough but one should consider it because the difficulty level is rate as LOW.

Never imagine the reward of the hike would be an awesome reservoir view which I don’t think many hill would able to offer this, especially around KL.
An old but active reservoir called Ampang Impounding Reservoir was one of the earliest waterworks constructed in 1892. This location is fondly known to nature lovers as Bukit Indah.
KL Hiking group was the sole organizer for this hike. Again, I followed them to discover my first hike on this hill.

Many hikers might attempt Gunung Datuk (Mount Datuk) mountain in preparation for Gunung Kinabalu real challenge. But not many know that this is mountain is a legendary mountain by the history.
Gunung Datuk (Mount Datuk)
Back to time where Negeri Sembilan was ruled by Minangkabau, this mountain is used by local people to gather and choose their leader.
You may ask why there is a FOOTPRINT at the summit on the boulder. Myth stated that it was belong to legendary warrior Hang Tuah which used to move one place to another place by jumping mountain to mountain. (Source from WikiTravel).
My FOURTH time to hike this legendary mountain and the best timing I achieved among all. I took 1.5 hour to touch the base peak. Started at 8.30am, reached at 1st check-point (rest area) at 9.10am and subsequent base peak at 10.00am.
