Hi Kaede,

Your friend had a point there, as when around waterfall, there r high possibility of wind blow that can make wet your DSLR equipment. To avoid this, shooting from far should be fine. Trekking with DSLR is okay as trek aren’t very steep. You can have leisure normal shooting while trekking.
