House Warming @ Bandar Utama
0I went for a house warming @ Bandar Utama early this month. It’s my colleague’s new house in old area. This double storey house is located at the prime location housing area in PJ, opposite to Kolej Bandar Utama (KBU).

Buffet style catering is prepared to welcome us. Since it’s afternoon, all of us are great with delicious lunch. So coincidence, the owner also celebrating her birthday as well. So, everyone of us get a slice of cake of Secret Recipe.

The interior is quite nice from my point of view.

Four of us: Simon, Dex, MK and Teh.

Cutie with her mother.

Both lengluis known as Ah Tee and Qi Qi.

The group photo is taken at living room. Quite big and can fit many peoples around.
Maybank Scam Site
1I’m not a customer of Maybank. However, I would like to share one of the many scam activity going on targeting every major banks.
Below are the ways how they get your ID and password.

I received an email saying that I need to update my personal details as part of their account maintenance. They even mention about me changing my personal information recently. HELL NO! I did not call the bank, maybe others want to imitate me. By thinking this way, I may give a shot to click the link provided.
After that, proceed to login at FAKE website as shown below.
Type your ID and password together with TAC number that received via SMS mobile.

If you are using Maybank 2U Online all the while, then WHAT THE HELL 2 database server dot com is doing in the email? How on earth maybank may use external database to store information? IT literate customer may know this immediately.
If you see the THANK YOU page. Congrat, you are damn already.
Phisher at this stage already success to get your ID and password. They demand you not the login at the specific time to prevent dual login in different IPs at the same time. Dual login is easy to be detected by the monitoring tools and ID will be block after that.
What so ever, they will perform a valid login on the real banking website and perform fund transfer out to their account before you ever realize it as a scam.
Please DO NOT trust anything that you see fishy. This kind of threat is targeting the non IT savvy and easy to fall into trap. Bank was hitting so badly with phishing activity recently.
Lunch @ Tenji Japanese Buffet
Tenji is a Japanese Buffet restaurant located at Solaris Mont Kiara. It’s probably the hottest talk food story in town during Chinese New Year 2009. As it was opened not long ago, they’re having promotion on RM49.90 ++ each person during my visit on Feb 09.
Tenji Japanese Buffet Restaurant
9th February 2009

I went there with my bunch of colleagues, manage to secure with booking 15 seats for lunch. It costs us RM54.90 per person. Without booking, the chances are very low to make it into restaurant unless somebody there FFK (no show).
Cuti Malaysia Y2k9
0This year MATTA Fair ended with glory and achievement. It was held at PWTC again as normal. This fair is purpose cater for peoples with aim of travelling. It’s a good place to look for good deals of vacation.

Lets cut it short, I went to the fair twice this time. Entrance fees is RM3 for adult. For me, it was FREE due to I’m MATTA card holder.
I booked my Perhentian Island trip for next month and pre-booking Kota Kinabalu Mountain Hiking trip at the end of year. I don’t think having a good deal for my package due to it’s not cheap for twin sharing holiday especially on public holiday. But then, I’m glad to have such wonderful holiday in these popular island and hill.
Year Y2K9 doesn’t look like a visit malaysia year when the world economy is plunging down. However, it’s different for local tourism. Eco-Challenge IX @ Nur Lembah Pangsun
Eco-Challenge is kind of activity that need physical strength and competent mindset. This version of eco-challenge, according to the organizer is more easier due to foreseeing a lot of newcomers joining in. I’m one of them. It’s a real challenge to my ability, thanks to Genting Trailblazer 2008 that I participated two weeks ago, enable me to stand the real challenge.
Eco-Challenge IX
15 November 2008

The entire activity need you to complete 12km route with non-stop challenges that you never imagine. It drained your energy to the last bar. You must finish the race no matter how you want to give up. Terrible is it? Haha.
This is my toughest challenge with 6 hours non-stop and worst come to worst, it’s raining in last one hour.WOW…a new experience for me.
